School Workshops

The school workshops are an essential part of the Awareness Project. They are aimed to cover all 354 public schools of the entire Chitwan District.

A school workshop includes several short contributions on plastic pollution, dance and music, and a final garbage collection.

To assure the sustainability of the programme, our Awareness Team conducts a feedback session with the principals and teachers of the visited school as well as follow-up workshops during which a specific strategy is put in place to promote separate waste collection within the school grounds. The waste is then collected by the local waste pickers.
